Property Supervisor
Ernst & Haas Management Co. has an immediate opening for a Property Supervisor.
This position will oversee and coordinate daily operations of the maintenance department and staff; maintains all buildings and properties in proper condition. The Property Supervisor will be assigned a portfolio of properties from 60-100 depending on the unit count. This position is responsible for communicating with the property owners on a regular basis; make recommendations/assess/oversee/approve all work and expenses; point person for any problems related to the property; responsible for resolving any issues that may arise with owners and residents. The candidate must have prior experience in basic maintenance terms and concepts, strong communication (oral, written and computer) and customer service skills. Front Office Receptionist/General Office Clerk
Ernst & Haas Management Co. has immediate openings for a Front Office Receptionist/General Office Clerk.
As a Receptionist/General Office Clerk, you will welcome clients, visitors and vendors to the office, answer incoming calls and route them appropriately, help coordinate office events, schedule conference rooms, and general clerical support to the Leasing Department.
This is an exciting and excellent position for growth potential. The ideal candidate must be bilingual, possess strong communication skills, professionalism, customer focus and have the ability to work effectively under pressure. Work schedule is Mon-Fri from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. (However, occasionally will work on a Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.)
This position serves as the initial contact for all callers and visitors to the organization. The person is expected to handle the front desk with tact, patience and professionalism. This position will meet and greet all visitors, clients; determine their needs and direct them to the appropriate person/location while maintaining a relaxed ambiance. The candidate must be able to answer, screen and direct calls on a multi-line phone system. This position performs general office clerical duties. The candidate is responsible for translating oral and written communication in Spanish as needed. The successful candidate must have two to four years related experience; excellent written and oral communication skills; must be bilingual; have strong interpersonal skills; commitment to excellence and high standards; ability to work with all levels of management; and an ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. This position will oversee and coordinate daily operations of our property listings, website content and company newsletters. This position serves as a liaison expert for our properties, and is responsible for posting all vacancies and for responding to all inquiries regarding our properties. In addition, this position will plan and coordinate employee events and activities. The successful candidate must have prior experience writing newsletters, very computer savvy, as well as knowledgeable with the internet and social networks. Able to answer inquires via phone and email in a professional manner. Good organizational, strong communication (oral, written and computer) and exemplary customer service skills are a must. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, plus two to three related experience or equivalent is required. Planner/Scheduler Admin Assistant
Ernst & Haas Management Company has an immediate opening for a Planner/Scheduler Admin Assistant with a strong emphasis in Customer Service.
This position assists Property Supervisors in maintenance and repair of buildings, and property as needed. Oversees and coordinates daily operations of the maintenance, vendors and major maintenance projects, which includes constant communication with property supervisors, property assistants, vendors and property owners. Maintains inventory of keys, signs and other maintenance equipment stored in office. Coordinates communication with and work of outside contractors. Monitors and maintains proper inventory levels; authorizes purchase orders for supplies and equipment. Ensures that property is in compliance with all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations.
The successful candidate must have two to four years related experience; bilingual a must; basic knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; commitment to excellence and high standards; ability to work with all levels of management; and an ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
