Labor Day weekend is fast approaching and that means the start of fall, the NFL, and NCAA football seasons! Also, the start of fall means the start of the NBA and the Lakers! For the labor day weekend, if you don’t feel like staying at home and having a backyard barbeque, then check out one of our events listed below. Long Beach Museum of Art, Free Fridays: Long Beach Museum of Art located at: 2300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA. Every Friday is FREE at the museum with generous support from L.A. Every first Friday night of the month, participating Bixby Knolls businesses will unite to promote local artists and musicians through extended operating hours. Greek Festival Long Beach: The 61st annual Long Beach Greek Festival & Cultural Event runs from noon to 9 p.m. each day at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. The Greek Festival features dance performances, games, specialty shops, food and drinks. There is free parking and shuttle service is available from Cal State Long Beach.
