The Long Beach Veterans Day Committee will be honoring veterans and troops currently serving the United States at the Long Beach Veterans Day Parade tomorrow.  The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. at Houghton Park on the corner of Harding St. and Atlantic Ave. and will feature Clarence Bramley, a World War II veteran and Bataan Death March survivor, as the grand marshal. Food, crafts, and giveaways will take place throughout the event, with a patriotic concert performed by the Long Beach Junior Concert Band.  "Freedom Walk in Support of Our Troops" will immediately follow the parade (shirts for the walk can be picked up at Houghton Park at 9 a.m. and the registration form can be downloaded here). A ceremony honoring veterans will also take place following the parade at the Long Beach Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Houghton Park. We would personally like to thank all the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Because of them, we are able to live life freely.
