A common misconception that prospective tenants have about E&H is the idea that we are the owners of each property. As much as we wish that were true, it is essential for prospective tenants to understand that we do not own the properties listed on our website. Instead we are 100% involved with managing each unit which includes aspects of marketing, leasing, accounting, and maintenance.
We are the liaison between the owner and the tenant(s) and although it does not occur often, "London Bridges does come falling down" when we are caught amidst both parties. 95% of the time we are able to settle differences between both parties who consider each others position. However, there are always a few gaps we can not bridge and those moments are what make our jobs difficult.
When these circumstances do arise, it is our job to consider fairly the request from both parties without any bias. We pride ourselves in being transparent, just, and efficient to both manage properties and retain tenants. Overall, I can say that we have been successful because of our wonderful staff, owners and tenants who understand our position.
