About Us

Angela Joined the Ernst and Haas Team in 1999. When Angela began working at Ernst & Haas over ten years ago, it was a very small company: the broker/owner and herself. As the business started to grow, she created and filled positions as they came along, often handeling the duties and positions herself. Angela has grown as a business professional as the company has grown. Angela is not only a Manager but a mentor and the great team that she has hired and trained love and respect her. Angela says, "Ernst & Haas Management is not only a company I work for but a family which I am a part of". Angela has obtained her Real Estate License, Notary Public, and CHPP (California Housing Professional) certification and is constantly expanding not only her own education but that of her entire team's. When Angela is not working, she is enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Mia first joined Ernst & Haas in June of 2003 as a part time administrative assistant while attending Cal State Long Beach. As she obtained her Bachelors Degree she realized working with Ernst & Haas Management was second nature and wanted to continue being part of the team. Mia was then handling all of the firm's financial duties as controller and excelled in her role. After completing her CHPP Certification in 2008, she was assigned a new role as Operations Manager for the firm. As Operations Manager, Mia is responsible for ensuring that all departments are running smoothly and at their highest efficiency. She has the directive of identifying and implementing better ways to serve the client. Whether its technology applications or reviewing company protocols, Mia is continually improving the systems within the firm. In her spare time, Mia enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and writing.

Lorenzo first joined Ernst & Haas in 2006 as a maintenance coordinator, because of his excellent work ethic and his eagerness to learn, he was promptly promoted to Property Supervisor. Lorenzo received his CHPP training and certification in 2007 and is constantly attending seminars and courses to enhance his customer service skills. Lorenzo's commitment to his clients finds him working at all hours of the day and night showing properties and problem solving to make sure both his clients and his residents receive the best service possible. On his off days, Lorenzo enjoys sports and playing drums & guitar.

Erika joined our team in 2008 as an administrative assistant. Her dedication and commitment lead to her promotion to application processor. Erika thrives when working in a collaborative environment, which explains why she has excelled in her position in the application and leasing department. She believes that "teamwork is the only way to achieve the best results possible. There is no I in team" Erika has completed the CHPP course (Part 1) and is working on part 2. Erika realizes the value in education in her industry and is always sharing Ideas and knowledge with her peers and her supervisors. She is continually looking for ways to improve the service she is providing. In her spare time, Erika enjoys going to baseball games, reading and being a soccer mom.

Jaime comes to us with an extensive "hands on" maintenance experience background. He first joined the Ernst & Haas team in 2002 as a maintenance technician and although he thoroughly enjoyed the maintenance field, his professionalism and hard work demonstrated the potential for a property supervisor position. He was promoted to Property supervisor in 2004, and earned his CHPP accreditation in 2005. Jaime continues to expand his knowledge in this industry by attending dozens of continuing education courses each year. What Jaime holds most important is excellent communication with his clients. When he manages to get away from his Blackberry, and finds some time off, Jaime enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 4 children. His passion is for soccer, and his team of choice is Mexico Chivas.

Sal first joined Ernst & Haas in 2004 as a maintenance coordinator. He was quickly recognized as a leader and demonstrated an amazing ability to "connect" with people. He was soon promoted to property Supervisor where he was assigned some of the toughest and most problematic buildings. Sal was able to take on this challenge with eagerness and a desire to succeed. He obtained his CHPP certification in 2006 and continues to gain knowledge in his field by learning from the most difficult circumstances. He has an intimate understanding of the perspective of the owner since and by becoming an income property owner himself. In his spare time, Sal enjoys spending time with friends and family and most of all playing soccer.

David Haas is founder and managing broker of Ernst & Haas Management Company. David started his real estate career in the early 1990's while attending Long Beach State. After a few years of brokering residential and investment property, he had the opportunity to manage some of the properties he helped broker. After seeing a need for professional real estate management in the community, David founded Ernst and Haas. Today, the firm has grown to service hundreds clients and properties with professional management services that are unparalleled. When David is not working or spending time with his family, he can be found sailing somewhere off the California coast. His passion for the sea is matched only by his commitment to his clients and his team.

Susana joined the Ernst & Haas team in 2008. She came to us with a 10 year customer service background. Susana considers herself to be a people person and enjoys helping others. Susana's professionalism and excellent communication skills allow her to serve as the friendly face of Ernst & Haas. When Susana is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Most of her volunteer work and activities revolve around her Christian faith.

Jose became a part of Ernst & Haas in 2007. Working in his fathers maintenance company since his teen years, allocated a great deal of experienced in the construction/maintenance field. He is still eager to learn everything there is to know about maintenance. Jose's main concern is making sure the customer is always taken care of, for he personally understands a renters need. Jose is currently attending Long Beach City College and is working on his Bachelors Degree. In his spare time Jose enjoys playing guitar and writing poetry.

Jeannine first migrated from Korea with her family at the age of one. As a youth, she and her family found themselves traveling all over the world with her father's military career. Jeannine joined the Ernst & Haas team in 2008. Formerly an Escrow officer of 7 years, Jeannine came to us with an extensive real estate background and a sharp eye for detail. She has a talent for making new business tenants feel at ease with their business relocation needs and she embodies the philosophy that customer relations is the most important part of any business. Jeannine was recently promoted to field supervisor and handles all operations of the executive suites within the company. Jeannine enjoys culinary arts and spending quality time with her family.

Solita has been with Ernst & Haas since 2008. She first joined the team as a receptionist before being promoted to Leasing coordinator as a result of her hard work and dedication. She is always eager to learn more about real estate and has attended numerous training courses related to her field. Solita has been a resident of Long Beach her whole life and continues to be enchanted with the city. Solita is currently working on her Bachelors degree. Solita enjoys painting in her spare time.

Luis joined Ernst & Haas in February 2009 immediately after his relocation from Fargo North Dakota, where in the evening hours, he gazed at the stars in the heavens for hours at a time. Luis now finds himself in an exciting urban setting and is eager to learn more about the various facets of the real estate industry. Luis is already one of our top Maintenance Coordinators and enjoys working the customer service side of the industry. Luis enjoys establishing relationships with all of the vendors, tenants, and clients he works with. He is currently working on his certification as a California Housing Professional. In his spare time, Luis enjoys networking & meeting new people in his community.

Stefany joined Ernst & Haas in 2009 as our front desk service. Although she did not have the luxury of having a lot of experience in real estate, she demonstrated her ability to be a true professional when taking on new projects and assignments. Stefany is eager to learn and grow as a business professional. She mostly enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is excited to be gaining experience in real estate management. In her spare time, Stefany enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.

Eric joined the team in 2009. He was born and raised in California and came to us with an extensive background in customer service. Eric believes that the job is not done until the customer is completely satisfied. Eric is constantly looking for ways to improve his service to his residents and clients and is continually seeks ways to grow as a professional. He is a true team-player and is always positive and encouraging to others, and has gained the respect of his peers and supervisors. His position in Accounts Payable, keeps him busy, but that does not detour his desire to continue his education and growth in the business world. Eric enjoys quality time with his family and friends, but he is an automotive enthusiast at heart, and in his spare time, enjoys taking cars apart, and putting them back together again.

As one of our newest team members, Jocelyn has demonstrated her dedication as a professional who has put her heart and soul in what she does on an everyday basis. It is rare to see such enthusiasm in someone, but she truly enjoys helping people and providing answers to their questions. Her goal is to have 100% customer satisfied when leaving the office and is constantly encouraging residents to complete the on-line feedback survey. You will always find Jocelyn with a smile as she greets you upon your entrance to our office. Jocelyn is very passionate about animals and enjoys volunteering at animal shelters in her spare time.

Sunny joins the Ernst and Haas Management team with 4 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry. With an insurance industry background she knows the importance of customer service. She strongly believes in service with a smile. Although Sunny does not have experience in the property management industry, she shows a strong commitment to learning and combined with her dedication she is showing tremendous growth in her current position. When Sunny is not working or going to school she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cheering for all her Los Angeles teams the Lakers, Clippers and Dodgers.

Todd is a new edition to the team, and due to his extensive experience he quickly transitioned into a Property Supervisor position. Todd comes with a wide background of experience in hospitality, construction and business development. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Cal State University San Marcos. Additionally, Todd obtained his Real Estate License in 2005 while working as a Service Coordinator for a real estate development company in Fresno, CA. After living in Pennsylvania for three years, and a short stint in Tennessee, Todd and his wife finally made it back to the golden coast in Spring 2010. Besides learning and engaging in hands on construction work, Todd enjoys playing golf, watching sports, traveling and of course, fine dining.

Melissa joined the Ernst & Haas team in 2009. She comes with an extensive background in accounting and collections. Originally from Rhode Island, Melissa's family relocated to Long Beach California in 1976, since then Melissa has made Long Beach her home. Melissa is currently working on completing her CHPP certification, and is eager to learn more about the real estate industry. As our Accounts Receivables clerk, Melissa is responsible for making sure every penny is properly accounted for. It's a tremendous responsibility, but Melissa mastered her field, and has proven to be invaluable to our firm. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys gardening and listening to an eclectic library of music.
